Creating inclusive libraries for students with special needs and utilizing adapted books
Libraries for All aims to promote and educate about how to create the most inclusive library and literacy experience for children with special needs including an innovative new library collection type- Adapted Books. These books are adapted with sensory items, laminated for higher durability and provide more equitable access to literature for students with severe medical and/or cognitive disabilities.
